Surf City (SCO) Open Martial Arts Tournament

We have scheduled the event to  introduce the competitor to our  2025 SKL state championship series of tournaments. Our goal here at SKL is to provide you, the competitor, the coach, and the spectator an affordable event filled with Integrity, Respect, and Great Competition.  As well as a safe, clean environment.  I would like to thank each of you for competing, supporting, and working together to make the last 25 year’s of this tournament a success.

Our event this year we will holding the event at the Fountain Valley High School, gymnasium. located at 17816 Bushard St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Doors will open at 8:00 AM and competition will start at 9 am sharp This years event will be using a fully automated system created by MyImartial and newly redesigned by Martialogic, software for “Smarter Martial Arts” the innovators in event management systems since 2003.

So get online, become a registered competitor, register for the upcoming event. Then relax and enjoy a great martial arts experience. Then start asking other promotors why they don’t have Martialogic at their events.

• Spectators: 
• $15.00 per person – Pre-registration
• $20.00 per person– Day of Event
• (5 years and under & 60 year and over free)
• CASH ONLY ACCEPTED THE DAY OF THE EVENT – NO REFUNDS
• Grand Championships & Awards:
• Black Belt Forms, Weapons, Sparring Adult 18 Plus and Jr 17 & Under Forms and Weapons
• Rules: 
• SMACS  rules will be exclusively used.  Light head gear contact.  No FACE gear contact in under 17 divisions.
• Safety Equipment: 
• Foam dipped head, foot, and head gear only.
• Mouth piece mandatory.
• Groin protectors mandatory for male fighting competitors.
• Combining and Splitting Divisions:
• Promoter reserves the right to combine or split divisions.
• Parents who volunteer to be certified Scorekeepers are allowed First divisions free for first child !
• First Divisions called will be First Timers & Self Defense followed by Weapons, Forms and Sparring,  ring assignments will listed on the website.
